The Finland showcase at this year’s Sunnyside of the Doc features a group of highly interesting works in development and progress looking for international partners. The showcase includes seven diverse productions, dealing with subjects from nature and music to current issues from climate crisis to human rights.
We want to reflect upon #storytellingmatters by sharing interesting stories by Finnish documentarists that highlight how important themes resonate across the globe. Our diverse stories are human, observant and help viewers to understand – these stories unite us. Our showcase on 21st of June presents:

Finnish companies are looking for co-producers, financing, sales agents, and distribution.
The showcase is presented by APFI and the event is sponsored by The Finnish Film Foundation.
