Thursday June 18th | 11:00-12.30 (EEST)
For a number of years and especially since the introduction of our national production incentive, Finland has worked to attract larger-scale international feature films and TV series to film here, just like most other countries including our Nordic and Baltic neighbours.
But what does it take to successfully provide production services to such productions, and what are the realities associated with it? How can Finland successfully attract them in the coming years, what are they looking for? And what effect will COVID-19 have on all this?
APFI invites you to participate in a webinar featuring conversations with four international experts:
Per Henry Borch / Line Producer, TrueNorth (No Time to Die, Mission: Impossible – Fallout)
Nick O’Hagan / Producer (The Great, The Good Liar)
Ben Bailey / Location Scout (Tenet, The Great)
Asha Sharma / Location Scout (Devs, Mission: Impossible – Fallout)
The webinar will feature individual discussions with the guest speakers as well as a short panel discussion and Q&A for audience questions.
If you are interested in providing production services for larger international productions, or work on marketing Finland as a filming and production service destination, sign up for the webinar via this link:
All participants who have signed up will be emailed a direct link to the webinar the day before (June 17th).
This webinar is part of APFI’s Summer Webinar Series:
This webinar is also a follow-up to APFI’s 2019 report on Finland as a production service destination. Link to report in Finnish: https://apfi.fi/wp-content/uploads/Suomi-tuotantopalvelumaana-selvitys-1.pdf
